We have informix 9.4 FC2 on HP-Ux11i.

We found one error 27001 in onstat -m.
Error description says - Read error occur during connection attempt. Network I/O error is detected while database server is accepting a connection request from a client.

onconfig parameters which we have set regarding network are as follows.

NUMCPUVPS 3 # Number of user (cpu) vp

NETTYPE soctcp,3,200,CPU # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype

I would like to know whether this error is due to real network problem or there is somthing required to be done at onconfig parameters.

Hi,

Please, test file sqlhosts, on server.
On client, test the definition of setnet32, Odbc, if is Windows.
