I am working on an old 7.23 system and want to setup replication to another old 7.23 system.

Can anyone tell me if I can initialize the new target system from a level 0 archive that was done while the system was online or do I need to quiesce the system.

Also, if I can do I need to replay the log files before starting the replication or will the replcation process take care of that for me.
