Hi all,

Can someone give me some standard onconfig settings for a Sun v480 with 4 CPU and 8Gb RAM? Much appreciated, thanks,

There is no such thing as a standard in tuning. Hardware info is not enough. You should also consider, number of users, application, processes, backup, chunks, checkpoints, network, etc.

Thanks for the response. I am just looking for a starting point for the mem parameters that would make sense based on the hardware.
