I got a problem in backup tasks here. For your information im using windows platform to install my Dynamic Informix Server and ISA as my db editor.
the problem arise when my dbserver prompted "Logical Log Files are Full -- Backup is Needed ".It becomes hang after all. I tried backup the Logical Log Files using ISA but its not seems success.Then i checked "on-Bar" message, it shows :

"Unable to open file d:\informix/etc/sm_versions
No such file or directory"

Did i miss any configuration in somewhere?

Please test in ONCONFIG file, parameters LTAPEDEV, then run ontape -a or ontape -c.

I didt'n hv any tape to mount it. Can u give me the "onbar" version and how to configure the parameter.
