Hello everybody,

i have the following problem on informix 7.30.

Since a long time one sql-statement is very slow. It takes 2 minutes.
If i drop and recreate the manual added indexes the statement takes 1 second.

Now the problem, after I run an update statistics the same statement takes again 2 minutes.

Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem?

What difference with 'set explain on' before and after updates stats ?
Are the indexes right ? (=how many sequential scans ?)
Changes with other OPTCOMPIND settings ?
