onstat -p (generic pages)

Hi All,
I dont understand one part of "onstat -p" command output.
In the concrete it is third line wit gp_* informations.
I know that these information are about generic pages and generic
pages are nonstandard pages in buffer pool.
But I dont know what is mentioned by "nonstandard pages".

Can someone explain me this?
