Hi,

Please, can you send me the onstat -d output, onconfig file and disk layout.
Are you using raw-devices ?

Gustavo.

Gurey,
Thanks for taking a look.
onstat -d is in onstat.txt
onconfig is in onconfig_coe.txt
disk layout is in informix_LUN.dso1u.txt

informix_LUN exists in /etc/init.d and is read on boot and when I
add chunks. The spaces exist on a SAN and the admins have
not seen errors during the time of the crash. I'll ask for a description
of the set up.

We are using raw space. We convert from block to character using the raw command.

Thanks,

John
