hi,

I am a newbie in the informix field.I got a problem where i have to generate a application in java that will be able to accept the user query and also user wants to see the schema of tables and procedures.
I have already downloaded ifxjdbc.jar,ifxtools.jar for the jdbc.

But i dont know how to execute the dbschema command through jdbc.

i have done it using a telnet connection to the database server.

But i want to know whether it is possible to exceute dbschema command using java?
