I am new to informix reporting. We have a report working perfectly in normal fonts. When the same report is run in UNICODE environment (Chinese chars) the report throws a "Segementation violation" exception. It is understood that the UNICODE charecters take double the space. We assume the error is because of long concatenated print statements. Any quick work around for this?

What kind of reporting are you talking about? ACE reports or 4GL reports? And did you have a "Language supplement" installed with the database server? According to the Dynamic 4GL 3.0 documentation for chinese chars lang. supp. ZHCN 7.20 is required. Maybe you should check it out...
