Informix database dictionary

Hi All,

I need to generate a data dictionary for my informix databases. Do you know of any software products out there to help with this?

Thanks,

If your databases are well designed (with primary key and referential constraints) Sybase Power Designer can reverse engineer the database and can do pretty good things with modelling as well as reporting. It's a commercial application for data architectures though and not specific to Informix servers. And most of all... licences are quite expensive (app. € 3000). Don't know what Server Studio can do for you, I believe it's a lot cheaper but check it out yourself:http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/ssje/

Regards
