Hi guys

I have a an instance of informix that is mirrored within informix running 7.30 UC 3.
I'm going to the hardware mirroring and going to do away with informix mirroring.
Here is my question

After I rebuild unix kernel, file system and everything else that the os need and will be ready to restore Informix how will the backup behave?

Meaning I have a MIRROR value in the $ONCONFIG set to 1 and the ONDBSPACEDOWN set to 0 to Continue. when I go to restore the system using ontape -r would the fact the I will not have the links to the mirror chunks any more give me any kind on issues? Never encountered this issue just want to know what to expect.

I did it, as long as the ONDBSPACEDOWN option is 0 and all the primary chunks are in place the restore works fine
