creating new extents

I have a table that has grown to the size of my dbspace, how do I create the next extent for that table in a different dbspace.

Either increase the size of your dbspace or look into fragmentation across multiple dbspaces.

Thanks, but I still dont know how to do it. I cant increase the size as it is at its maximum - 2GB

You can add a chunck to the existing dbspace and the table will extend into the additional chunck(s).
