4gl Migration from HP unix to Linux
Hi ,

I have to migrate 4gl code from unix to linux. Can anyone point me to a resource to know where the changes need to be made ?

Hi,

I've ported 4GL code from AIX to Linux under RDS and absolutely nothing in the 4GL code had to be changed. Even the C-functions linked in the runner operated like before. If RDS is installed according to the guide (http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data...ary/4gl_7.html) I think it will take care of the necessary adjustments. Don't know about compiled 4GL.
