Hi ,

We are using onunload and unload method to migrate our Informix server databases.

After unload the database to new server /machine , the database size is 20% more than old server database .For example, in old server database customer size is 1.2 GB.After using the onunload and unload method to migrate the database , the size of database customer in new server is 1.8 GB ....
The page size is same for both servers.Old server is 32 bit and new server is 64 bit.
Why the new server database is taking more space ??
Any guess ?
