when i used onstat - cmd to check informix status.

"Informix Dynamic Server Version 9.4 UC -- Fast Recovery (CKPT REQ) --
Up 01:36:50 -- 1332224 Kbytes
Blocked:CKPT"

and

then i used

onmode -ky

after that when i am trying to informix up using i am getting error

oninit: Fatal error in shared memory initialization

pl. help me, how can i online my informix

Do not bring instance down when it is fast recovery!!!!!!!!!
Error that you are getting means that shared memory already exists

run ipcs -m and remove informix segments using ipcrm -m memid

and bring the instance back online
