Dears;

I'm new to Informix and my task is to migrate Informix Database in Alpha Server 4/266 i think the kernel or OS vesion is 3.2 with isql version v4.15 UC1 to Oracle 10g on Linux RHES v4.0 U5.

My problems:-

• how could i backup the database
• how could i transfer the backup to another machine where i could deal with ( Clients connection through dummy terminals )
• i've downloaded tool called sqlways391276.zip how could i connect my machine to the server i think this type of servers support serial connectivity

please i need your help urgently
