Hello all, I'm new to Informix my collegue has created a new dBase test_2 our original dBase was test_1.
My problem is that when starting informix it attempts to open test_2 (which is an empty dBase) and fails.
Questions:
[1] Where is the default dBase specified - this must now be pointing to
test_2 - how de we reset this to test_1?

[2] Where do the dBases test_1 and test_2 reside

Hello,

There is no concept of default database in Informix as far as I know. Are you sure you are using Informix to open an Informix database? How are you accessing it? How are you starting it? What OS? Which version? What are your environment variables in case OS is UNIX.
