IDS 9 - Extracting specific bytes from a column

I'm looking to extract only certain data from a column. For example, the column shows 00131339-36456, but I only want to extract 131339 into a new column.

Is there a way to do this in IDS 9?

you can use substring function...for details, take a look to the manuals.
