DBSpaces special characters

Noob here,

I've created a dbspace called dataspace2.001 via SSJE.
When I try to drop the space I get an error because of the dot in the name.
I've rebuilt the instance as it's only a test box.
In real life how would I get around the dot in the name, TBONE?
I'm running 11.50.xC3DE on Windows XP

Thanks
Frank

Do not use dot in dbspace name, for exmple, dataspace2_001.
And use command line.

Real man use command line.

Yeah, time to learn the command line for sure.

Thanks for your response.
