err 25590 in informix

hi Gurus,

I have a pbm in one of my dev servers which has more than 50+instances.the user in one particular instance while running dbaccess is getting the error 25590 authenitication error.In other instances he is able to run the same.
I have checked sqlhosts,services files ntn seems to be wrong.

we are using IDS-7.31.UD8

Is dis a bug in 7.31UD8?

any replies,much appreciated.
