I've been tasked with setting up a report server for an application that uses Informix as the backend DB. I'm versed in MS SQL and Oracle and new to Informix. Can I simply mirror the database to another server for reporting or does a mirror much like in MS SQL land only allow connections to the Primary DB of a mirror? If so, can I SNAP a readable copy of the DB of the Secondary of the mirror? Is anyone currently running a separate reporting environment and if so please explain configuration. -A
