With informix IDS 11.50.
My question is to know the maximum number of columns allowed in informix table?

Not familiar with IDS 11.5 but in the older releases you could find this information in text documents in your $INFORMIXDIR/release/en_us/0333 directory.

You will probably have to substitute other values for "en_us" and "0333" as I am in US and you're in Spain.

I've never seen another directory.

Number of columns: 32K = 32.768 columns, that should be enough

I assumed his directory names would be different because I'm in the US (en = english and us = United States) and the OP is in Spain so they might see sp_sp (sp = spanish and sp = Spain).
