attemp to connect to database server failed

I am migrating my database from UNIX to LINUX environment. With my new database in LINUX, I manage to connect my database using CSDK 3.5 but failed when I use JDBC (from remote client application). I've check all the parameters and seems everything are right. Any other else that I need to clarify? Pls help..
