Hi All,

We've a application that is ported on a Oracle system, which we would like to migrate to a Informix system. I assume there would be lots of ambiguities in doing this. I would like to take some advices from you guys. I'm more interested on the DB side rather than the whole application. So pls feel free to comment.

Wat all negatives can we expect in this movement? If anyone has any prior experience in a similar kind of task, pls share ur thoughts? Is there any tool that we can use to export/import db's?

But i assume the MTK cannot be used for oracle 11g version. Am i right?

And, is it recommended for migration to a different schema? Does it has provisions to create migration rules?
