Hi, I'm trying to execute onplod on a distant database, so the question is : is there any syntaxe to connecte to a distant database in order to unload or to load like the connect to ... when using load and unload utilities??

You must configure a connection between the two Informix instances on sqlhosts file and you must have a connectivity for it, then you do:

database database_name@server_name;
load or unload command;

Hi, the problem is always in process, So Is there a way to have the onpload on a client side like I just have done to dbaccess wich I have install on a client with just the Informix SDK and not the entire Informix server, so I'm on a client machine wich have full access to the database wich is in a distant server and I configure the onpload job on that server but I want to call or to launch the job from the client machine thru some king of command is that possible??
