I recieve the following error on occation when connecting to Informix via ODBC

Provider (0x8000FFFF)
Catastrophic Failure

It occurs when I attempt to open a connection. This occurs in a conncetion intensive environment. Does anyone have any ideas why or a solution?

first try to check connection with informix tools like setnet, dbping or sqleditor and if errors still occur ,then check the related error code...

And there is of course MaxConnect for connection intensive environments.
Does it also happen on test machines where there are less connections?
