Question Replication monitor

Version: 7.31 TC6
OS: NT 4.0
How can I monitor the status of replication using batch file that will alert me if the status is not OK?

U can trap the transactions from the transaction to a table then from then filter those transactions where severity greater than 16 if present then either mail it or page it.
for that u will have to configure sql mail services.
i hope this is the one of the easiest option.even though i have never experienced this .I will appriciate if u do this let me know the status like +ve or -ve.
