Cool onbar -r

I run dynamic server 7.31 on SCO Openserver 5. I am learning how to backup to disk, from a raw device.
When I typed "onbar -b -L 0" everything ran great, so I deleted my database, but *not* the dbspace or the partitions.

When I typed: "onbar -r" the log file said the restore was completely successful, but when I brought the server up and checked with onstat,
there was no database!!!
Anyone know why a logfile would tell me it restored successfully when
it really didn't?
Thanks for any response!

Did you try an onbar -r -w?
What storage manager are you using?
How do you know your backup went ok?
