I am running a program that loads huge number of records in Informix Database that sits on a remote machine. After a considerable number of records are inserted/updated the database connection is closed and invariably I get the error code as 25582 whose description says that the network connection has timed out. Has anybody experienced this problem and have any solution, what might be wrong with my setup.

Code runs on one machine while the database server sits on another machines. Code runs on a Sun machine running Solaris while Database Server (Informix Dynamic Server) sits and runs on a Linux machine.
