I have temp keys to install informix and we are waiting to get the production keys before we plan to roll out the server for production.We want to build the server with this temp keys to avoid the delay.

My question is :Is it possible to change the temp license keys which we will use during informix installation and later build the database and then later change these keys to production keys before rolling out for production.If this is possible how do we do this.

Yes it is, you just have to run the installation procedure again.
the rebranding is done automatically.
