shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER

Dear All,

I am getting the following error when i try to delete the logical log using

>onparams -d -l 1
"shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER 'SERVER1'"


Where can i intialize the shared memory of Informix Server"?

Please help me to fix this issue.

The IFMX databaseserver has to be in quiescent mode
in order to drop logical logs (with 9.30 this could be
done online).

So you have to bring up your databaseserver using
"oninit -s".
