The checkpoint is currently 1934 on primary and 1460 on secondary, but the logical log ids seams to be consistant with each other on both VTT when you do the onstat -l....

The question is, is this checkpoint critical?
I tried to restore by bringing the secondary server OFF LINE then to ONLINE, but there still was no difference...
I think the IDS is using full checkpoints instead of fussy checkpoints therefore the command onmode -c may force the checkpoint....
Whats your opinion on this besides going through a tape backup and restore procedure?

Hello There,

This is my first post, I am also having the same issue. The HDR is ON on both Primary and secondary servers but the log id/ Check point id is lagging behind on the secondary server.

What are the effects of this and How can I correct it apart from a 0 level restore on secondary??

Hi, in HDR, the engine don´t use fuzzy checkpoint, may be in IDS 11...

Thanks for replying, I am sorry I didn't get you completely. There may be some I/O activity on the secondary as the secondary is read only and some large queries being run on the secondary to extract data.

But the question is, does this means that replication is not proper or the data differs between primary and secondary? what are the other effects of this??? And is there any way to resolve this??

if the data is not sync, then they differ from the primary to the secondary. you must have the same log/checkpoint, see DRINTERVAL too. Sorry, my english is very basic...
