Red face ONTAPE Problem
While trying to take backup using ontape , the following error message pops up :

could not fork server connection
Program over.

What is the problem?

Make sure that your IFMX databaseserver
is up , i.e. "onstat -".

Also make sure that your environment settings
are correct (INFORMIXDIR, PATH, ONCONFIG,
INFORMIXSERVER).

Check the 'online.log' for any additional messages.
