In IDS 7.x, we have the onconfig parameter DRAUTO that can trigger an automatic switchover in case of a crash of the primary server.

I can't find this parameter anymore in IDS 9.x

Has it been removed ?

Yes, it has been removed.
There were some problems where teh DBA didn't want the engine to switch over. f Ex. network failure.

You can now write your own script that does the failover for you.
onmode -d standard will do the trick
