Ids 9.3fc4x2

Hi all,

A few weeks ago I asked information about known bugs and issues with IDS 9.3 on AIX 5.1.

I was recommend 9.3FC4X2 (9.3FC2 + FC4X2 patch), because it avoids the query that use table of anoter database (dbx@instancex:tabx)

Does anyone has information about that ?

Also, where can I find this FC4X2 patch ?

Finally, does anyone know where I could download 9.3 for AIX from ?

Cheers,

Phil

First of all, I am not sure who told you this info.

If yo want a specific patch, you will have to call technical support.
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/i...t/contact.html

IBM does not allow you to download AIX versions of IDS. You will have to call your local sales office to order one or to order a trial version (60day).

The problem you discibed about the distributed query, do you have a bug number? If not, no it is not traceble.

One thing you could do is upgrade to 9.40.
