Question Connecting two 9.3 servers on Redhat 8

We are trying to connect two servers, both running Redhat 8 and J/Foundation 9.3. We have chacked the /etc/services, /etc/hosts, /etc/hosts.equiv and the sqlhosts file and they all appear to be ok, but we still get a 908 error. We can telnet & rlogin manually between servers ok.

We've had a similar set up (9.20) with RedHat 6.2 working ok, so it appears at first sight to be a restricted RedhHat 8 services problem or a 9.3 issue.

Any ideas?

This is now closed.
We have tried setting a nd changing various services under RedHat and this now appears to work.
Unfortunately, we do not know which service was required to make it work!
