Question tempspace being tagged as blobspace v9.40

I am added tempspace dbspaces to a new database in IDS 9.40.UC2 via the ISM web interface. It shows up as tempspace after adding it, but upon bouncing the server, it shows up as Blobspace on the ISM Storage page. With an onstat -d I get the below that shows it with a 'T'. Does anybody know why this is happening? Thanks..

Dbspaces
address number flags fchunk nchunks flags owner name

1758db78 6 0x2001 13 1 N T informix tempdbs2

Hi, Jenifer

I do not understand as it is the problem.
All dbspaces temorarios must appear, in onstat - d with flags in ' T'.

Gustavo.

Hi Gustavo -
You are right - the 'T' flag is correct (since it is tempspace) which shows on the onstat -d.

What I don't understand is why it is showing as type=BLOBSPACE as shown below instead of Dbspace in the ISA web interface!

tempdbs1 4 No Online Blobspace 1 informix
ssdbs 5 No Online Dbspace 1 informix
tempdbs2 6 No Online Blobspace 1 informix

Jenifer
