Hi

I recently built a new test server running open unix 8.0 informix online.
This was connected to our company network using a different IP address, Node name etc. from the Live Server. However the instance name of the test database was the same as the live.
When restoring data to the test db via sdlt the live server slowed down and eventually crashed.
I dont know if anybody has ever come across this issue before? but
Could this be anything to do with the instance names being identical.

Please let me know as i am baffled
