How can i recover some of my database files using command line. How will i know if there is some files that i need to recover. In oracle i think this can be seen in v$recover_files how bout in informix?

Hi,

Depending on Informix version, you can recover one table from archive with the utility "archecker" or restore archive of level 0.
If you have free space and use symbolic links, then restore this in other place, then recover tables.
