Hi.

I have a Informix 7.31 TC7 and when I try to make update statistics there is the following error:

597 [INTERNAL] PREMATURE END OF BUFFER

If anybody knows what this means please tell me :

1. What is this buffer.
2. How to remove (repair) the problem.

Can be a bug, but test if long register on all table is greater than 4096 bytes.
On that platform this running Informix ?
This is connected via TCP/IP or shared memory ?
