quick question

The below command brought our on-line down. It was running under root and using 99% cpu. I contacted informix and they have no idea what the options do. It is a valid onstat command I never saw run. Does anyone know what this does?

onstat -g lcd

Thanks
Jeff

It was coincidence, I execute it and did not there were errors.
The outpu command was:
Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.31.FD1 -- On-Line -- Up 5 days 06:45:45 -- 756576 Kbyte
And
Informix Dynamic Server Version 9.40.FC1 -- On-Line -- Up 5 days 06:46:29 -- 357096 Kbytes
