HSI's client, a leading Credit Card company, needs an Informix DBA to support HP-UX 11i migration project and other infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities will include database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and ongoing support.

Candidates must have between three to five years experience in Informix (7.3x and 9.x) Database design, installation and upgrade. Informix HDR replication experience is required. Database upgrades through multiple versions and working in a UNIX OLTP environment is needed.

Other required experiences include:
- Fragmentation experience
- On-Bar experience
- Experience managing multiple environments with multiple instances
- Strong UNIX (HP-UX) background

Other experiences that are preferred include:
- ER experience
- UNIX scripting experience
- Veritas netBackup knowledge/experience
- BMC Patrol knowledge
- IBM/Informix Certification
- Financial Institution knowledge

Location: Newark, DE
Duration: 6 months to start with the strong possibility of extension and/or permanent employment
