Im using Veritas netbackup to backup my logical backups on
solaris . During the backups it seems that tables are locked and as
a result of which users cannot perform updates on the tables. Can
anybody suggest me how i shoudl go about finding the problem

Hi,

It can be that the board contain columns type blob and these they be in blobspaces instead of dbspaces.
The blobspaces are locked during back-up of this.
