informix 2000 relocation error in oninit -i

install fedora core linux in home pc.

Informix Dynamic Server 2000, initializing space for database error..


relocation error: /var/lib/libpthread.so.0: Symbol -h -errno, Version GLIBC.2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference.


help for solution... please

Hola Fernando,

Lo que creo que te ha pasado es que al instalar CORE, piso las librerķas de Linux, posiblemente tengas que tratar de recuperar las antiguas librerķas o busques la librerķa correspondiente y le armes el link nuevamente.

Solucion a problema de libreria

De hecho fernando el link no esta creado fijate que venga en tu glibc y que APARTE este apuntando al lugar que necesitas ( muchas buscan el i386 en vez del i686 ), que se solucionaria tranquilamente con una liga simbolica (ln -s )
