We are upgrading our site, moving from HP N-class servers to HP RP8400 servers and substituting our storage system, changing a HP Jamaica to a EMC server.
The problem is that we work with raw devices e don't know how to do backups in a EMC system.
We intend to contact people that have Informix under EMC to know how they do their backups.

You can subscribe to "http://powerlink.emc.com", there is many many wonderful documentations about EMC storage system.

We use Veritas Storage Manager and run ONBAR backups to backup data that resides on EMC space.
