How to Get the Source Code of Java Programs downloaded from from Sourceforge.net

Dear Sir,
I downloaded Java Programs from Sourceforge.net with the main aim of studying the source codes. These programs are supposed to come with the source codes, if I am not mistaken, because they are open source.
I have not been able to locate the source codes. I have unzipped programs, searched all the folders but could not find the source codes.

Please, kindly explain to me how I can get the source codes. I am particularly interested in Payroll and Acounting Programs.

Thank you.

Akinyemi

By downloading them.
Every project on sourceforge offers to either download the source code as an archive (zip, tar, ...) or you can check out the sources from subversion.
The details are given on the project main page.
