US-CO-Denver Metro North - DBA/DW/ETL Position (107933)

The Prism Group is looking for a Senior DW Developer for a 6 month contract in the Denver North Metro area. Pay rate to $59/hr as a W2 employee of The Prism Group, please provide a salary history. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Develop Warehouse acquisitions based on internal client and system requirements.
• Work with clients to review and refine project requirements to ensure that the client needs are being met.
• Provide a high level of service to customers as well as team members emphasizing partnership approach at all times.
• Develop test scenarios and perform testing.
• Production support for software applications in the group.
• Data conversions/migrations
• Data cleansing
• Data analysis

GENERAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to work in a team environment yet be self-directed, proactive and action-oriented
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating progress
• Must be able to initiate action and drive issues to resolution.
• Must offer suggestions & evaluations of potential solutions to business problems.

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of Oracle experience as an Oracle DBA/Developer
• Must be strong in PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle Tools (SQL*Loader, Import/Export)
• Must be strong in Unix Korn shell scripting
• Should have working knowledge of Oracle 8x/9x
• Experience with ETL Tools like Ab-Initio and Informatica is a plus.
• Experience with data modeling tools like ERWin is a plus.
• Experience with SQL Server and DTS is a plus.
