DB2 DBA - for immediate need (Minnesota)

A large Computech client is in need of an experienced DB2 DBA who will be responsible for the database creatation, migration, recovery, backup and tuning of the Lawson DB2 tables and related Reporting & Analytics DB2 tables used during project implementation.

The candidate will become a member of a team responsible for implementing the Lawson business suite of products. The role for this resource will be as an Application DBA performing database creatation, migration, recovery, backup and tuning of the Lawson DB2 tables and related Reporting & Analytics DB2 tables used during project implementation. Significant experience with MVS is required.

The selected candidate must have good verbal and written communications skills, must actively participate in team and one-on-one meetings, and must be committed to meeting project deadlines.

Start Date - 12/1/2005
Location - Minnesota
Duration - 9-12 month contract
