Our client is a leader in affiliate web marketing, our developers are tasked on a daily basis with being on the cutting edge of programming and development. They are currently seeking a full-time SQL Server DBA to join an already outstanding technology team. This administrator will help maintain and develop SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 databases under the guidance of our lead software architect. Our ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of SQL DBA experience.

Duties primarily involve, but are not limited to the following:

Configure, manage, and maintain multiple SQL databases while collaborating with lead software architect

Work closely with Project Manager, Data Analyst, Lead Software Architect, and Software Developers to design and maintain databases to support current and future needs

Required Skills and Abilities:

Minimum of three (3) years SQL DBA Experience

At least two (2) years experience SQL Server 2000

Experience with SQL Server 2005 a plus

Familiarity with .NET (especially ASP.NET, and VB.NET)

DBA role on at least:

One (1) commercial-grade web application

One (1) database reporting application

Skilled in:

Database and query design
Clustered Environments
OLAP Cubes
SQL Server replication
SQL Server performance tuning and optimization

Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to work autonomously as well as in a development team environment when necessary, as well as excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
