Client: My client is an application performance services company
assisting clients get the best level of performance of their enteprise
package solutions in terms of overall application performance and
access to data in real time. The client is currenlty expanding their
Sales Engineering Group and are looking for Oracle Apps (DC Metro),
Peoplesoft Enterprise apps (NY Metro & Chicago), Siebel CRM (Bay Area
or TX), ""deep technical"" consultants who would excel in a sales
engineering and technical solution design role.
Description:
In this role you will provide support to the sales team in pursuit of
Enterprise Data Management opportunities. Your primary responsibilities
include gaining a prospects' technical recommendation to develop new
business or extend existing customers business relationship with
Client. This is an exciting role where you will help drive
enterprise-level business across a diverse product-line by performing a
variety of tasks including: product overviews, customized presentations
and demonstrations, solution design, potential application surveys,
proposal development, product evaluations and product feature/benefit
discussions. You will assist in developing service engagement proposals
and assist in using ROI-based justification techniques.
Qualifications:
Seven or more years experience with Siebel Apps products.
A specialized knowledge and proficiency with a major open system
operating system (UNIX or NT).
Knowledge of DBMS/SQL with at least one major DBMS platform.
Previous DBA skills and experience with test data preparation (and
ideally data-masking) combined with knowledge of an overall application
development lifecycle.
Demonstrated understanding of storage environments, familiarity with
reporting tools and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise
environments.
General competitive positioning knowledge is essential.
Candidate Profile:
This is a customer facing role. It is critical that you have articulate
and seasoned verbal and written communications as well as effective
human relations skills. A proactive approach to the sales process and
professional presentation skills are also required. Your past
experiences must demonstrate a team player profile who is capable of
working on a team.
Education:
A minimum of a bachelors degree preferably in a computer science or
information technology.
